PUENTE DEL INCA! / INCA BRIDGE

Puente del Inca is a geological formation located in full Cordillera de los Andes, to 2729m on the level of the sea. It is a natural bridge formed by the action of the mineral thermal waters, with great quantity of sulphur, to it the wonderful colors owe. Formed on the Rio Caves, with waters to 35ºc, though nowadays the temperature is minor. His name comes from the legend, a long before the arrival of the Spaniards. The legend tells that a great chief Inca had a child with paralysis, and any kind of healing could cure him. When looking back, his warriors were petrified and constituted what is now the famous Puente of the Inca.
